The Dog Retreat

Welcome to The Dog Retreat & Spa. The Dog Retreat & Spa was built after years of persistence by Jalene and Ed Buckner. Having taken care of dogs for the past two decades, Jalene has always wanted to open up a clean, safe, fun and loving place for people to bring their dogs for doggy daycare and lodging.

In 2018, Jalene was able to make this dream a reality with some help from her family: Ed, Michael, Halle and both Matzha Ball (their rescued Cockapoo) and Sawyer (their rescue kitty)… along with lots of support from friends. This ideally located state-of-the-art facility was designed with both dogs, cats and humans in mind.

If you’re looking for a safe, fun and nurturing space for your dog or cat while you’re at work, at play or away, look no further. We’re passionate about animals and we make sure they are happy, and care for them as if they’re our own.

When you leave your beloved companion with us, you can put your mind at ease. We pamper them with individual attention and love; large, open play spaces; and a ton of new friends, both human and canine (or feline!) alike.
