Scaffidi Auto was founded in November 1966 by Sam Scaffidi Sr. after acquiring the former Jurgella Buick/Opel dealership located on 3rd St. in Stevens Point, WI. Soon after, in the early 1970’s Sam moved the dealership to it’s current location off of Stanley St. and franchised Ford, Lincoln, Mercury & GMC to replace Buick/Opel.The Scaffidi brand continued to grow with the addition of a Mack heavy truck franchise in 1972. As the Stevens Point location flourished the heavy truck business expanded North to Tomahawk, WI in 1983.

With the unfortunate passing of Sam Scaffidi in 1989 the company was passed down to his sons, Don and Sam Jr. Since then, Scaffidi Auto has continued to be the premier new and pre-owned auto dealer and service provider in central Wisconsin. Today, our state of the art facilities are still located off HWY 39 on Stanley St. in Stevens Point and the Scaffidi brand has grown to include Ford, Lincoln, Hyundai, and Volkswagen.
