Since 2018 we have been providing neurofunctional acupuncture care in Somers for those of my patients suffering from both chronic pain and acute pain. From low back pain, shoulder pain, knee pain, ankle sprain, even headaches and migraines, I am able to use very thin acupuncture needles and mild stimulation to increase blood perfusion within the muscles of these areas. Patients frequently ask me how many treatments it will take to eliminate the pain altogether. This is a difficult question to answer because it depends on numerous variables, some of which are impossible to quantify. I make no promises, though I will say, more often then not, patients leave my office after their first treatment feeling significantly better than when they walked in.
