Despite being lucrative, the life of a trucker doesn’t come without its drawbacks. After working long hours on the road for months at the time I began to feel as if my body was stopping me from doing what made me happiest in this world: driving trucks and meeting new people wherever they may be.

In December 2017, just before Christmas arrived it felt like someone had taken off their thumb and pressed down hard onto an already sore spot-the ELD mandate took effect meaning that every owner operator or company driver now needed one installed which would track any activity while on duty including speed limits & the number of breaks, these rules were nothing short but tough restrictions with no way around them!

I decided that it would be a good idea for me to share all that I have learned with other fellow truckers. That is how elddevices.net came to life. My name is Robert, a lifetime trucker and eld devices, enthusiast.
