We opened our first clinic in San Antonio in 2014 to answer the community’s need for high-quality outpatient wound care administered in a comfortable, comforting place. Until R3 Wound Care and Hyperbarics opened, advanced wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) were available only at large medical institutions. Today, we have two convenient locations in San Antonio and a brand-new facility in Ft. Worth. We will soon be opening additional clinics across the DFW area to serve the needs of the community. We’re proud of our success — it’s a clear indication that our state-of-the-art equipment, skilled personnel, and warm, welcoming treatment centers are resonating with physicians and their patients!

BOB CHILDS | OWNER & CEO

Bob Childs has spent his entire career in the medical field. Early on, while selling spinal devices, he recognized that he could affect enhanced results for patients through better-designed equipment. After Bob sold his orthopedic equipment company, he once again pursued a path to bring better health care to the public. He saw the need for focused wound care and faster healing through hyperbarics, so he now devotes his time and effort to educating the public and making available these special services at R3 Hyperbarics, where he has fulfilled his vision of personalized care for those who need it most.

Bob is a graduate of Sam Houston State University and resides in Dallas with his wife and two daughters. He is dedicated to providing better health care across Texas and beyond.
